About Dr. Gray

Dr. Michael Gray has been in the mental health field over 16 years and has worked with many populations to provide services. He has assisted at-risk youths, US military veterans, and served in the community mental health system. He is a life-long Shenandoah Valley resident and enjoys the area and its people. His primary interest is to serve others and help them to live up to their fullest potential.

He incorporates a variety of techniques as a way to help clients (primarily through the use of the Cognitive-Behavioral therapies) to address their concerns. Dr. Gray has written extensively concerning spirituality and of its importance in recovery from addiction or for improved mental health.

Dr. Gray is a combat-era, military veteran with over 18 years of college education that includes a master’s and a doctorate degree in counseling psychology. He has considered the CBT method and worked to improve the effectiveness of treatment using this method. He shares his insight regarding improving treatment with this method in his latest book;
